A Johnston man accused in a violent assault last fall is facing additional charges.

Thirty-seven-year-old George Bower returned to court in Warwick Tuesday for a bail review hearing.

Police say Bower had violated conditions of bail in connection with an assault case in North Providence.

This was due to a recent alleged assault of a man in Johnston, which police say he also violated a no-trespass order at the address.

Bower is also charged with assaulting a male nurse at Rhode Island Hospital last fall. Bower was set free on one thousand dollars' personal recognizance bail.
