Luy: We Will Play And Compete For Trophies In 2024

The President of the Rhode Island FC Soccer team says they will start play next year- but can't say where they will play yet because of construction delays for their Pawtucket Stadium. The President of the Team Brett Luy says all venue options are on the table.

"Let me be clear and unequivocal: Rhode Island FC is playing soccer in Rhode Island in 2024. And not only that, Rhode Island FC is going to compete for trophies in 2024." Luy says in a message to ticket holders.

Team officials are not speculating on where the team will start the 2024 season.
