Coronavirus Transmission Rate Still High In State

The coronavirus transmission rate in Rhode Island remains high according to the CDC.

The current positive test rate is two-point-one percent, an increase of two-tenths of a percent from a week ago.

The Department of Health reports over one-and-a-half-million doses of vaccine have been administered, with over 732-thousand Rhode Islanders now fully vaccinated.
