The Boston Red Sox begin a three-game series with the New York Yankees at Fenway Park tonight. The Red Sox and Yankees hold the two American League Wild Card spots. Boston is looking to lock up home-field advantage for the one-game playoff. They currently hold a two-game lead over the Bronx Bombers. The two teams are vying for the Wild Card slots in the American League and it is possible that the two teams will meet again in the playoffs. That will be decided in this weekend's games and over the last night games of the season.
