Governor To Use Grace Period For Healthcare Workers And Vaccinations

Governor McKee is trying to prevent any kind of a disruption from his mandate that all healthcare workers be fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The Governor telling reporters that he will provide an extra month of a grace period so facilities can replace unvaccinated workers with a fully vaccinated one.

The provision goes in place if there is a risk to the care provided.

The mandate for the healthcare industry is October 1st.

The Governor says it appears that a vast majority of the healthcare sector is in fact have been vaccinated.
