Meet this month super full moon, hopefully she's strong enough to shine through some of those clouds, it's our last Supermoon of the year!

August's Sturgeon Supermoon reaches it's, it reaches peak at 9:36 pm, tonight, Thursday, August 11th.

The Sturgeon Moon gets its name from the massive Sturgeon fish. The Algonquin tribe is to fish for these in the Great lakes during August. Augusts full moon is also called the Full Red Moon, the red haze of summer would give the moon a red tint. It has also been called the Green Corn Moon, the Grain Moon, or the Barley moon, because it was the time of year harvests would begin to get ready for the cold winter.

We're also in the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, however because of the supermoon, she will be creating a ton of light pollution making it difficult to see the meteors, but you might get lucky and catch a bright green, blue, or white streak in the sky. If you do, don't forget to make a wish!

Full moons are a great time for spiritual work! The Sturgeon Moon is perfect for harvesting and reaping what you have sown in your life, and don't forget to show gratitude for all that you have been give. Respect the process, persevere and keep flourishing! You got gumption, put it to good use and go after what you seek! Keep slaying, you Kings and Queens!
