Are you guilt tipping, or just wondering what that even is?

A TikToker named Aubrey Grace shared a video acting out a “guilt tipping” scenario, which has since gone viral. In the clip, a friend pretends to be a barista, and hands her an iPad asking her how much tip she wants to give, and the barista looks on. The video has since been viewed 1.7 million times, and has prompted some strong reactions from viewers. Many agree they feel pressured into tipping, and call the whole thing “awkward.”

Avoid guilt tipping with these helpful tips and remember try not to feel pressure when you tip, tip what you can afford, if you are worried they're judging you, don't care. I'm sure they are just grateful to be getting a tip at all. They might be hovering like that to make sure you don't have nay issues while checking out.
