First things first, I'm so glad Mercury is out of retrograde we are in the clear until September, phew.
We are onto more exciting things this month, like the Solar eclipse! It's happening the morning of June 10th. Now, over here in New England, we're not in the direct path of the eclipse, so we won't have a perfect view of it, but we should see a partial eclipse. The sun rise will look like a crescent, with the tips point upwards. This should start about 4:12am and end around 9:11am, according to the farmers' almanac. LINK!
I don't know about you, but I am excited for June's full moon, the Strawberry Moon, it reaches peak at 7:25 am, on Tuesday, June 14th.
Like most other full moons, the Strawberry Moon's name was inspired by nature, specifically the strawberry crop, duh. This was the time of year to harvest them, so the Algonquin Native American tribes named the moon after this. The Strawberry Moon has also been referred to as the Rose Moon, specifically in Europe, because this is the time and the rose bushes were in full bloom and gardens reach peak fragrance.
Full moons are a great time for spiritual work! The Strawberry moon is perfect for setting positive intentions and keeping the optimism and passion alive in whatever you are pursuing, and be persistent. It also serves as a reminder to be open and stay curious. ✌️❤️😊
