What Would the Official Rhode Island State Meal Be?

We have a lot of "State" things. A state flower (blue violet), a state bird (Rhode Island Red), a state flag...but we're missing something. Something that the state of Oklahoma has. Actually, they're the only state that has it. A state "meal".

The Oklahoma state "meal" consists of fried okra, cornbread, BBQ pork, squash, biscuits, sausage and gravy, grits, corn, strawberries, chicken fried steak, pecan pie and black-eyed peas. Whew. That's a LOT of food.

But, that gets us to thinking...what would Rhode Island's state "meal" be?

Would it be a plate of calamari, coupled with clam cakes, stuffies, clear chowder, a hot weiner and a Del's on the side? Maybe add a Gansett in there? Or coffee milk?

What do you think?
