The human body is absolutely incredible this woman in the Philippines needed surgery to remove a brain tumor and mid-surgery she is playing the flute, that's what the news source reported, but it looks like a recorder to me. I don't know a lot about wind instruments, so don't at me if I'm wrong.
They even have her counting numbers and looking at flashcards as well, it's quite remarkable.
Now there is a method to all of this, I don't want to call it madness, but it is wild. The doctors used it as a way to monitor her motor and speech systems during the surgery.
If you want to see the flute playing part it's right at the beginning it does get a bit graphic so if you've got a strong stomach keep watching if not maybe look away and then look back for the flashcards at the end, that's what I did lol
