Weekend Shenanigans with Steph!

Friday I had a relaxing afternoon it was amazing I had such a long week being up early I'm not used to that early in the morning, but it was great I had so much fun filling in for Doug and Jenn on Now 93.3, and I had so much fun doing overnights all week on 94HJY. Friday afternoon I hung out with Kohl and relaxed, and we did the same thing Saturday afternoon as well before I went to the Pitbull concert.

That was so much fun this weekend, I needed that so badly. Music is like my religion. I don't know if you've ever heard that song by Maren Morris, but she talks about how listening to music is like going to church for her, and I can totally relate to that. I don't believe in or practice anyone specific religion, music is my thing. That's my way of connecting to my inner self and to the world around me. It brings me joy and peace, helps me through tough times. Always there and it's incredible how it brings everyone together, it is one language that we all seem to know how to speak. And I'd love that Pitbull gets that. Check out my Instagram post to see what he said.

I'm not sure how I managed to rally Sunday for a hike after jumping up and down, shaking my hips and dance my butt off at Pitbull Saturday night, but I did. Also, Pitbull shared my Instagram story on his story, and I totally freaked out Sunday morning. After all that, I rallied and my best friend and I took Kohl to the Tri-State Marker. The trailhead start in East Thompson, Connecticut it's part of the Air-Line State Park Trail and the Tri-Marker Loop Trail veer off eventually. Anyway we went to the point where the three states meet Rhode Island Connecticut and Massachusetts it was really cool I wasn't sure what to expect when we got to the top of the hill that I didn't expect to have to climb, although that was my workout for the week LOL there was a little pillar there, so naturally I took tons of pictures of Kohl haha.

Then I went back to my friend's house later (after a much-needed shower), and we played a super fun board game called Flick 'em Up. You get to play an old western shoot out with small wooden figures and wooden discs you flick, they're the "bullets." We had lots of laughs it was a close game; Andrew and his bf against his sister and me, and the girls won!

And my weekend carried a little over into Monday morning because I didn't have to be at work till late afternoon, so I stop by the East Bay bike path to go stare at the wind turbines because I'm weird, and I love them, LOL.

I'm so ready for an awesome week this week, I hope you are too. Have a great week! Love you!
